What are Redemption Groups?
Small groups are uncommon communities (John 17:20-23) applying God's truth and grace (2 Timothy 3:15-4:2) in everyday life (Titus 3:8). At Redemption Church, small groups are ground zero for transformational discipleship. We encourage those in our fellowship to "get connected" by plugging into one of our groups. The purpose of these groups is to devote ourselves to fellowship where deeper application, biblical accountability and focused prayer take place.
What Do Redemption Groups Look Like?
A typical small group meeting consists of biblical application and discussion, mutual accountability, prayer and fellowship. The curriculum is tied to the Sunday message and is common to all groups. Most meetings are approximately two hours in length during a weekday evening or Sunday afternoon.
Where Do Redemption Groups Meet?
These groups meet weekly, three to four times per month, in host homes. We have small groups meeting across SE Calgary on:
Tuesdays in Walden, Wednesdays in Elgin, Thursdays in Auburn Bay and Sundays in Prestwick.
